We’d like to introduce Professor Eamonn Quigley who has volunteered as one of our consultants for the last ten years. Professor Quigley is a Gastroenterologist who works at Houston Methodist Hospital, in Houston Texas.
We asked Professor Quigley what attracted him to go into medicine as a profession: “I would not say that I was attracted into it; it was, given my family background, more inevitable than deliberate”. His involvement with the trust stems from a life-long interest in gastroenterology in emerging nations. And our final question; why do you think the Trust is important? “Because it provides access to expertise which is simply not available in certain parts of the world”.
