New User Instructions

Referrers

  • Please access Swinfen Telemedicine through our web system or mobile apps.

    Your Username and Temporary Password has been sent to you via email. These are unique to you and should not be shared.

    When you login for the first time, you will be asked to set a new Password.


    If you need to reset your password at any time, please click on Forgot Password from the Web System login page.

    Please make sure to add swinfen@mangoesmobile.com to your email inbox Contacts list –– you will receive email notifications about your cases from this address.

    Make sure to check your Trash/Junk file to make sure case notification emails are not going there.

  • For new cases PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

    1. Log into the secure system and click on ‘Create a new referral’.

    2. Type in the relevant patient details.
    • You can safely identify the patient by name, as the system is secure and can only be accessed by the specialists concerned in the case and by the Trust's administrators.

    3. Attach any clinical images, videos, or files – keeping them to a reasonable size.
    • Please DO NOT upload ZIP files because not all specialists can access them.
    • If taking photos on an iPhone, please change your Camera settings so that the image files are saved as JPEG not HEIC.
    • To convert HEIC images to JPEG images on your desktop (before uploading to the Sy6/stem), please follow these instructions.

    4. Submit New Referral.

    5. Log out of the system.
    • You will receive a System generated email acknowledging receipt of the case with a case number.

    6. Within 48 hours, you will usually receive another email notifying you that the specialist has replied.

    7. You can then log in to System again and read the response.

    Please note: the specialist's advice is to the referrer not the patient.

  • ONGOING CASE COMMUNICATIONS:

    To access any of your Cases, simply log into the system and click on ‘List my cases’.
    • Select the relevant case by clicking on the case number.
    • Click on the link at the bottom right of screen that says: ‘Read all messages.’
    • After reading the messages, click on the link ‘Respond’ at the bottom of the screen.
    • Type your reply to the specialist into the box labelled ‘Your response’.
    • Submit your response.

    Then log out of the system and await an email to let you know that there is further Specialist response.

    Once the Case has been completed, please keep the Specialist advised of the outcome of the case.


Specialists

  • Please access Swinfen Telemedicine through our web system or mobile apps.

  • Please follow these steps:

    1. You will receive an email notifying you of a newly Referred case that has been allocated to you by a Swinfen Telemedicine System Operator.

    2. Log into the Web System from the link in the email or through one of our mobile apps.

    3. Click on ‘List my cases’.
    • Select the relevant case by clicking on the case number.
    • Click on the link at the bottom right of screen that says: ‘Read all messages.’

    4. After reading the messages, click on the link ‘Respond’ at the bottom of the screen.
    • Type your reply to the Referrer into the box labelled ‘Your response’.
    • Attach any clinical images, videos, or files – keeping them to a reasonable size.
    • Please do not upload ZIP files because not all users can access them.

    5. SUBMIT your response.

    Then log out of the system and await an email to let you know once there is further Referrer response.

    Please note: the Specialist's advice is to the Referrer not the patient.
